MEET THE CAST

Lux : Britt Robertson

Brittany Leanna Robertson, born April 18, 1990 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Brittany is the oldest of seven children, three brothers and three sisters who reside in South Carolina.

First appearing on the screen in a 2000 episode of the syndicated action-adventure/fantasy television series “Sheena,” Brittany Robertson would later be recognized while playing Cara Burns, the second daughter of Steve Carell’s Dan, in the comedy-drama film “Dan in Real Life” (2007), and the enigmatic girl Samantha Saxton on the CBS period drama series “Swingtown” (2008).



Cate Cassidy : Shiri Appleby

Shiri Freda Appleby (born December 7, 1978 in Los Angeles, California) is best known for her leading role as Liz Parker in the Roswell television series. Appleby and her younger brother, Evan, were raised by their parents in the San Fernando Valley (northwest of downtown Los Angeles, over the Hollywood Hills, in Los Angeles County). She has had guest appearances on many television programs, most notably thirtysomething (1987), Doogie Howser, M.D. (1989), ER (1994), Baywatch (1989), Xena: Warrior Princess (1995) and Beverly Hills 90210 (1990). For Roswell, she tried out for the roles of both Isabel and Maria before landing the role of Liz Parker. She has also had minor roles in a significant number of movies before Roswell.

Shiri was in Bon Jovi’s music video “It’s My Life” with Will Estes. She was also featured throughout the 2004 music video for the song “I Don’t Want To Be” by Gavin DeGraw.



Nate ‘Baze’ Bazile : Kristoffer Polaha

After working in television for a several years, mostly in guest roles on such series as Angel, Tru Calling, and Roswell, Kristoffer Polaha scored quite the part as his first major role. The Reno, Nevada-born actor portrayed John_F._Kennedy_Jr. (no stretch, given the physical resemblance) in the warmly received 2003 telemovie America’s Prince:  The John F. Kennedy Jr. Story. Not long after that, Polaha took on his first regular TV role, playing luxery hotel manager Jason Matthews on the prime-time soaper North Shore. When that series ended after just one season, Polaha continued on with guest work on popular shows such as House, Bones, and Mad Men, appearing in a regular role again in 2008 on the very short-lived sitcom Miss Guided. On that series, he played shop teacher-turned-Spanish instructor Tim O’Malley. In his private life, Polaha made headlines in 2003, when he courted and wed Days of Our Lives heartthrob Julianne Morris, they now have two young boys.



Ryan Thomas : Kerr Smith

Smith was born in Exton, Pennsylvania. He and his sister, Allison attended Peirce Middle School and he graduated from Henderson High School in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Smith began acting started with roles on As the World Turns as Teddy Hughes from 1996 to 1997, the films Final Destination (2000) and a cameo in The Broken Hearts Club (2000), written and directed by Dawson’s Creek writer Greg Berlanti and as a guest star in the WB’s hit show Charmed as Agent Kyle Brody—a love interest for the fourth sister, Paige.

Kerr is most famous for his role as Jack McPhee in the second season of the WB’s Dawson’s Creek, Smith portrayed a sixteen-year-old high school student; in reality, the actor was twenty-six. Smith was thirty-one when the series ended its six-year run in 2003.



Math: Austin Basis

Austin Lee Basis was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York in a little beach community called Sea Gate at the end of the famous Coney Island boardwalk.

but his television debut was in the Comedy Central film “Porn ‘n’ Chicken.” His break came in 2004 when he was cast as Lou-Lou Versini in an episode of “LAW & ORDER: Criminal Intent.”

After several trips to Los Angeles, Austin landed a role in a Warner Brothers TV pilot for FOX called “Spellbound” with Christine Baranski, Barry Bostwick and Dave Annable. He soon moved out to LA for good and began making a living as an actor. Austin’s initial success was in National Commercials. He has appeared in spots for Toys ‘R’ Us, Wendy’s, Dr. Pepper, State Farm, Burger King, and AT&T. He also plays Benjamin Bankes, the pig in the Ad Council’s “Feed the Pig” PSA campaign.
